Yeah but i think he will be out on the wing this year. I see a Henry/Van Persie as first choice strikers.

i get the feeling that the guy is trying to make somne noise in order to try and get a move. As a Celtic fan i have massive experiance of seeing players trying to get move, such as Van Hoydonk (not spelt right I know), di canio, cadete. Players say stuff in the press then they turn around and say they were mis interpetrated. I think he will go in the Jan transfer window, if not sooner.

The rumours surrounding Reyes keep coming back, there will probably be an offer sometime soon.

But just it is a guess, before any Gooners jump on my case.

no smoke without fire.he's definitely hankering for a move home. whether he gets it though is another matter. i think he'll still be a gooner come the kick-off of the new season. Jan transfer could be on the cards though.

If Reyes leaves then Arsenal will at least get their money back. I am also sure that Wenger will bring in a young 'nobody' from somewhere that will be just as skillful.

It was thought that last year and this year would be transitional for arsenal with many of the old faces leaving. They have did better than I expected, especially in Europe. But they can't catch Chelsea, no one in the premiership can, so maybe this is the perfect time to change th team. The same thing is happening at Man Utd.

He will be staying with Arsenal

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has told Jose Antonio Reyes to forget about completing his dream move to Real Madrid before the end of the month.

The 22-year-old has continually reiterated his desire to join Real during the summer transfer window.

The Spanish giants claim they have tabled a firm bid for Reyes, but Wenger insists that is not the case and says his player has been unsettled by the speculation.

Reyes' agent has tried to speed up the switch for his player but Wenger has insisted that the attacker will continue to be an Arsenal player for the foreseeable future.

"It looks like it will remain a dream," Wenger stated.

"There is no deal with Madrid, I can assure you.

"His agent flies 2,000 feet in the air - but he must come down to earth again."

Ashley Cole is another player keen to leave The Emirates Stadium before the end of the month and Wenger says neither player is in the right mindset to appear for The Gunners.

He added: "Cole cannot be totally focused as his situation has not been sorted out. Reyes is in the same boat."
