Bolton agree Tristan fee

Bolton are aiming to seal a deal for Deportivo La Coruna striker Diego Tristan before the end of the month.

The Trotters are understood to have agreed a £2.5million deal with the Spanish Primera Liga club and are now talking to the former Spain international.

But Tristan, 30, will be required to prove he is fit enough to cope with the rigours of the Premiership before Sam Allardyce commits to a transfer.

At one point was one of the hottest properties in Spain. Had a great partnership with Roy Makaay when they was together.

I wonder how he will fit into the Trotter's style.

He was a quality player a while ago but I have no idea how his form has been over the last few seasons, he seems to be out of the limelight at the moment.
