Brown eyes Campbell stay

Hull City manager Phil Brown is desperate to extend Fraizer Campbell's loan spell at the KC Stadium until the end of the season.

The 20-year-old Manchester United striker, who scored in the 2-0 win against Wolverhampton Wanderers, has now found the net six times in 13 appearances since joining the Tigers in October.

Brown said of his loan star: "Anybody who scores goals is an important asset and his sort of strike-rate would be appreciated in any division.

"He's on loan until the middle of January and, as far as I'm concerned, it's a no-brainer - I'd like to keep him until the end of the season.
"I'll try to do as much persuading as possible, but the decision is out of my hands."
