vCash: 480 | Winger Robert in Town link Ipswich Town manager Jim Magilton has confirmed his interest in signing the former Newcastle United winger Laurent Robert. The 32-year-old ex-France international is a free agent after leaving Levante and also had brief spells with Portsmouth and Benfica after leaving St James' Park in the summer of 2005. Magilton said: "If Laurent Robert was available I'd encourage him to come to the club so we can look at him. He's someone we know has all the qualities we like. "There's a possibility that we can take him in and it will be down to Robert if he wants to come and be part of this club." |
