vCash: 480 | Davies considering Kozluk move Derby manager Billy Davies has refused to rule out a loan move for Sheffield United full-back Rob Kozluk. Kozluk has played no part for the Blades since their promotion to the Barclays Premiership and the Rams could lure him away with the promise of first-team football in what would be a second term at Pride Park. The 29-year-old has made over 200 appearances for United since he arrived from Derby in March 1999. Davies admitted Kozluks representatives had contacted him, and a loan move would be allowed under Football League rules, despite the window for permanent transfers having closed. Davies told the Sheffield Star: "I know all about Rob Kozluk. Hes a local lad and from what I can gather hes a Derby County fan. His agent got in touch to see if there might be a chance of coming here. At the moment thats all it is, agent speak, because there are lots of names being recommended to us. Im busy compiling a list of possible targets and when thats done well take things from there." |
