Netherlands and feyenoord winger linked with ARSENAL

Romeo castelen has recently put very good performances for feyenoord and he just missed out of the netherlands squad for worldcup through an Injury.van basten clearly admitted that dejong was a replacement for CASTELEN and he was unlucky to miss out of the world cup.
Arsenal manager will look to a transfer of Romeo Castelen to Arsenal in January.Catelen has also said that he has been offered and he says that i would love to play at arsenal.He is a very pacy winger and has good control on the ball when crossing he can play on both wings

haven't seen anything of this player. Is he any good? I will have to start watching Channel 5's coverage of the Dutch league. It's free and can't be any worse than the SPL.

from the video i saw about him in Youtube was that he is a great finisher, can score from difficult positions.

Buying a winger will come good for Arsenal since Pires and Reyes (although only a loan, I don't think he will settle at Arsenal) left last season. Moreover, Ljungberg is injured and van persie will then have his chance to become a striker rather than sometimes playing at the left side.

there would definitely be room for him at Arsenal. However, are there not any young English players who could do this job and be developed into a great player? This is a debate for another day i think, but i do beleive that recently the very soul has been ripped out of English clubs with the having so many foreigners on their books.

Competiton is too high at Liverpool's right midfield. They have Gerrard, Gonzalez and Pennant, all waiting to prove themselves.
There's a lot of room at Arsenal for Castelan.
