Rafa eyes Valencia keeper

Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez is being linked with a raid on old club Valencia for goalkeeper Ludovic Butelle.

Reports emanating from France claim Liverpool are pondering a move for the former Metz ace.

Benitez is a big admirer of the Frenchman having signed him while he was in charge at Valencia before moving onto Liverpool.

Liverpool could be in the market for a new goalkeeper with Chris Kirkland having sealed his permanent move to Wigan last month.

There are also doubts over the long-term futures of Scott Carson and Jerzy Dudek at Anfield

rafa should find a ew keeper, pepe is not on form at the moment
he has made some mistakes in the new season that has really cost THE REDS

I think goal wise Carson will return in January and Dudek will leave. Carson and Reina will fight for the position with youngster David Marin acting as back-up.

Any keeper that liverpool sign would be better than reina i do not rate him what so ever they should of kept kirkland
