Verpakovskis to join Getafe on loan
Dynamo Kiev have agreed to loan striker Maris Verpakovskis to Spanish Primera Liga side Getafe.

The club will have the option to buy out the Latvian internationals contract for 1.9 million euros ($2.52 million) at the end of the loan period.

"I am very happy. Now I have six months to persuade coach Bernd Shuster that I am vital to his club," Verpakovskis, 27, told the UEFA Web site uefa.com.
