Fantastic bit of buisness for Spurs ,I'm sure they only payed West Ham 2.5 million for Carrick and offloaded him for 18 .

Spurs really miss carrick thou look how they used to play wen he was playin with dem altough spurs r doin welll at the moment their game play is different without carrick he fitted in with spurs he dosent go with man u.

Personnally i think Carrick was a good buy. How many transfer mistakes has Sir Alex made? The only one i can think of was Veron. How many people had heard of C. Ronaldo before he signed for United. Manchester United have always looked to either bring youth players through or invest in young players and the signing of Carrick was an investment for the future. United get linked with many players. Usually these players are looking for a new contract or are getting their name around in order to achieve a move.

The only reason he doesnt get to play for barca is because eto is too good but look at his season at chelsea 16goals or something and a bag full of assists so dont doubt Gudjonsson if anything he's the more promising of the two by proving himself at the two richest clubs in the world
