Blades keen on Virgo

Celtic look like they may offload Adam Virgo to Sheffield Utd. Did he get a fair crack of the whip or was he a dud from the start?

Personally he never looked like a player to me from the start. Makes you wonder why Strachan signed him in the first place. Was it the old pals act with McGee, lining Brighton's coffers' with Celtic's cash?

Strachan seems to have an eye for a player, Nakamura for example, but you have to question that same eye when he not only signs a dumpling like Virgo but compounds the ****-up further by spending £1.5m on said dumpling.

Not since the days of Tony Cascarino has Celtic signed a bigger flop. I've seen cows turn quicker than him.

Celtic fans should be grateful that he only played a few games.

Still to be convinced about some of Starchans signings and Virgo was certainly one of them. He signed Virgo and Camara then hardly played them, he never really looked that confident in them at any point.

I hope we do get rid of Virgo for Celtic's sake and his sake. And i hope Strachan, should he get some of Henriks millions, will do a bit more research before he spends that amount of money on a player.

Any other big money transfer duds?

At Celtic? Sure is.

Camara and Dublin from Strachan. Both have been awful.

so if he's so **** why would the blades buy him, we are as good as celtic, we got the ball off man utd more than they did..

i know celtic won but they were embarrassingly poor.

i think this is a non-starter now and if the Blades were interested then the scout who recommended him should be shot along with Virgo

There are currently about twenty or so names linked with all clubs so i think it's best to sit and wait as most of them are agents and clubs just advertising their stars for sale, of course the media exagerrates it all.

well that's true, mind you tottenham aint pullin no trees up, their first home game, first half, they anhillated the blades but they aint reproduced that form since.

I'm so very very frustrated with being a Tottenham fan. You see I wouldnt mind if we went on a bit of a run and won four games and then lost five or whatever its just the constant monotiny(?) of win one game convincingly, get a bit of hope and then play like a Sunday leauge team.
