Roberto Carlos For Chelsea?

Quote:
Brazilian defender Roberto Carlos has claimed that he has been offered a 3 year contract from Premiership champions Chelsea.

With only 1 year left on his current contract with Real Madrid, Carlos is seeking to secure his future. He has since stated that he will decide on any offers that are made to him after the World Cup Finals.

Chelsea have been reported as making a replacement for the troublesome left back position a number one priority at the club.

"The problem is not financial, the problem is the length of the contract and my motivation to play football," said Carlos.

"Chelsea have made a good offer and are offering three years of contract instead of one year more with Real Madrid.

"I hope to get a reply from Real Madrid to re-negotiate my contract, if not I'm going to look for somewhere else.

"I want to have a good World Cup and, three or four weeks later, I hope to have decided whether I stay at Real Madrid or go to Chelsea."

yes,hes the height of nonsense! he is over-rated anyway,he is to brazil, what beckham is to england, a free kick specialist! hes a liability, though as a commercial product himself,he will be fishing himself a new contract, most of the footballers today are spoilt middle-class twats, and he is no different!

you know the rules!

I agree with you beartons, IMO he is a liability at the back. Much too interest in scoring, but that is partly why we love those Brazilians!

Lennon Vs Carlos would be good to watch. Both of them with pace to burn.

Do you really think that Carlos wants out of the Bernabeu though?
