Robert Pires Agrees Deal With Villarreal

Villareal are expected to make an announcement on Pires’ arrival shortly.

Pires was a good player, liked falling on the grass a bit too much though. Time will tell if Rosicky is as successful but he certainly has the credentials.

great player for Arsenal and was part of a great team.
Himself , a younger Bergkamp, Viera, the irrepressible Henry etc.....

will still do a job, depending whether he still has the appetite. i think the slower pace of La Liga will suit his old limbs.

The FORCE will always triumph over the dark side!!!

That is just because your are linked with every Frenchman that is available with Le Guen [the man who wants to build a Scottish team ]

Pires would be a flop at Ibrox anyway, Pressley and McManus would kick him into the next week when they played.

no, you dont want that pansy boy at Ibrox, he goes down like a sack of spuds! personally i hate players like that! i like honest pros like, gerrard, larrson, laudrup, mccoist, type of players, they are all the best at what they do and 100% effort and honesty too!

Definately.

It's quite funny that Arsene has came out and slated Eboue for his dive in the CL final that won the free kick for Arsenal's goal.

pot and kettle!! arse wenger is a sore loser, i dont feel barca's goal,mm sorry freekick was a dive! arsenals was a shocker! the ref was crap and for me spoilt the game! it was a barca goal, but i would have shown common sense and booked the keeper, we dont want jobsworths reffing big games like this!
if it was 11 v 11 aresnal would have made it a great game, but i think Barcelona would have played better too and maybe won 3-1 and showed why they are the Brazil of club football, as playing against 10 is a hard task at times!

you know the rules!
