Cisse Set For Return To France

Liverpool Striker Dijbrill Cisse looks set to leave Anfield this summer with French clubs Lyon and Marseille leading the chase.

The French International striker has been told by Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez that he can leave and it is thought that a figure of around £8 million would be enough to secure the services of the pace striker. Liverpool paid £14 million for him from Auxerre

It would be a tough call for Cisse though; the current Lyon manager is Gerard Houllier, the same man who bought him for Liverpool from Auxerre.

Houllier was axed by Anfield chiefs before Cisse could play a competitive game for him. Lyon are also the current French champions and have forged themselves a reputation in European competition.

However Cisse is a lifelong Marseille fan and may opt to go and play for his boyhood heroes.

He has been shocking for Liverpool, probably one of his worst signings.
