Spurs Eye Zakora

Ivory Coast International midfielder Didier Zakora has attracted the attention of Tottenham manager Martin Jol.

Zakora who currently plays for French club St. Etienne is expected to be an important player for the Ivorians in this summers World Cup. The midfielder has been followed closely by Spurs and has been watched by Sporting Director Damien Comolli.

Zakora’s agent confirmed the interest by saying

"I know Tottenham are interested.

"I know they've already spoken with St Etienne and have made their first bid.

"But for the moment nothing is done.

"What is certain is that Damien Comolli knows Didier very, very well. And Didi is very, very interested in moving to Tottenham."

I will be watching for this guy when he plays at the World Cup.

Jol seems to know a good player when he sees one.
