vCash: 480 | Zaragoza agree permanent move for D'Alessandro Real Zaragoza have agreed a deal with Wolfsburg for the transfer of Argentinian playmaker Andres D'Alessandro. The Aragonese outfit are ready to pay a transfer fee of 3 million euros for the diminutive 26-year-old, who will put pen to paper on a four-year contract. Wolfsburg shelled out a hefty nine million euros to buy D'Alessandro from River Plate in 2003, and he arrived in the Bundesliga with the a reputation as one of the brightest young talents in Argentinian football. He failed to settle, though, and was shipped off to Portsmouth on loan for the second half of the 2005/6 season. He found his feet while on loan at Zaragoza this year, building a good understanding with compatriot Pablo Aimar, and now looks set to make la Liga his home. |
