Man Utds summer signings

Fergie has said theres 3 players who he has on his list he wants to sign, who do you think the players are or who do you think we should sign

me most defeinitley need a proper throughout season striker to play with Rooney... Saha just not cutting it, and he gets injured too often

We could deal with one more CB....

and i dont know who else we need

I hear that Man Utd will make a move for Owen and if they don't get him then second choice is Tevez and not Defoe...

Think that the Hargreaves deal will go through - although might be more than 18m! However, with Giggs ageing they need another strong midfielder and Alex with know that Hargreaves will do the job.

I remember hearing that Munich said they wont sell Hardgreeaves for less than 20m, and Fergie said thats too much.. so maybe he'll look elsewhere for that midfielder

Imo Michael Carrick is a better player than Owen Hargreaves , so I'm not sure United need him , I would say they definately need a 20 goal a season striker , they haven't found an adequate replacement for Van Nistlerooy yet so that should be the top priority , other than that I think they should be looking at long term replacements for ageing stars such as Neville, Giggs & Scholes.

I think up-front we should sign David Villa who has expressed his intrest in coming over to old trafford in an interview during the champions league magazine. Also I think we should poach Ricardo Quaresma before Chelsea get the chance to I think he would be a perfect swap for Giggs, And also because he would work great with Ronaldo Because they play very similar football styles. As they have shown in their national squads Ronaldo likes to tie up with Quaresma because they do the same football moves and are almost the same age..... Quaresma proved himself worthy of the epl via the way he tormented Diarra, Carvalho, & Cech for 90minutes non-stop when Chelsea took-on Porto in the Champions league.

I heard that ferguson was interested in signing Nani and Hargreaves but i think that hargeaves rejected the deal or the club rejected the offer.

why all the bother about heargreaves. He had a semi decent tournament for a below average england team. Much better players out there. If your going to try and get that type of platyer I would spend more money on gattuso.

would still rather pursue that option than heargreaves. There are much better holding/ball winning mid's out there.

Rooney is a good player but has shown thsat he is not quite ready to score all the goals on his own just yet. I certainlly think beefing up the forward line would be a good idea. They should offload Saha though. Not good enough for utd.

The German press are reporting that Hargreaves has already signed for Man Utd in a 25 million Euro ( approx 17 million pound ) deal.

I don't think Rooney is a 20 goal a season striker , he is a fabulously talent player but not a natural goal poacher in the RVN mould, I would say Rooney is the new Mark Hughes what United need is a new Brian McLair to play along side him.

I think Hargreaves is virtually a done deal but we need a striker coz Saha seems to break down to much although his records pretty good,the daily mail reckons were after E'to which i think would be a great signing
