vCash: 500 | Obafemi Martins In Poss Swap For Sol Campbell Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is ready to offer Sol Campbell in part-exchange for Inter Milan’s Nigerian striker Obafemi Martins. The Nigerian international is a favourite of Inter patron, Massimo Moratti, but could be sold if an offer in excess of £15 million is received. Tottenham and Newcastle United have already made preliminary bids for Obafemi, but their offers of around £8 million have fell well short of Moratti’s valuation. Thanks to Premiership interest, Gunners boss Wenger now knows the Nigerian is available and is planning to table a major cash plus player offer involving Campbell to bring the Nigerian striker to the Emirates stadium for next season |

vCash: 500 | Martins is like lightning but to exchange Campbell? Campbell is on a lot of money, does Wenger think he can get a cheaper, fitter younger replacement for less? With the quality of young players that he is bringing in maybe so. |

vCash: 700 | I don't think this is a good deal for anyone. Personally I think if Campbell plays well in the World Cup Wenger will keep him. Arsenal may try and get Martins but I'm not sure he would improve the Squad that much. He would have to be understudy to Henry. |
