Bristol City boss Gary Johnson is adamant the club haven't received an approach for Cole Skuse from Premiership side Reading.

The 21 year old, who made 52 appearances in the Robins' promotion campaign last season, has marked himself out as one of the Football League's most promising youngsters, but Johnson insists Steve Coppell hasn't made an offer for him.

He told the club's official website: "Cole Skuse is our player and, as with any other player, you have to treat that sort of thing as total speculation until you get an approach - and we certainly haven't had an approach."
