vCash: 500 | Bellamy for Liverpool? Blackburn Rovers have confirmed that striker Craig Bellamy is in talks with Liverpool. It would appear an agreement over the fee for the Welsh international has been reached and all that remains is for Bellamy to agree terms with the club. It is believed that Bellamy has a contract clause that would allow him to leave if any club in the Champions League offers around £6.5 million An Ewood Park spokesman said "We have made it crystal clear to Craig and his advisors that we want him at Ewood Park," "We made him an improved offer before Liverpool declared their interest, an offer that was consistent with our ambition and determination to build on last season's success. "The decision now rests with the player." |

vCash: 500 | I wish he was still at Celtic Park, a great player but you always felt that he would explode at any time. He would do well for Liverpool especially since the pace of Cisse is not available any more. |

vCash: 500 | Benitez was supposedly wanted Bent but he can't sell Cisse so he has taken the cheaper Bellamy option. If Bent did move to Liverpool he would also replace Crouch in the England team, that is the one think missing from his game..playing for the top club. But in financial terms the Bellamy transfer makes more sense. |

vCash: 500 | would be a great signing for Liverpool. Don't think there were many Celtic fans who grudged him moving back south as he always had this move in him. Just the kind of striker Liverpool need and he's in his prime too. That goal against Portsmouth last season was pure Bellamy and sums up what he's capable of |

vCash: 1381 | He won the league for Celtic with his goals a few seasons ago. He scored some crackers and his pace was frightening for the SPL. I would reckon he is one of the fastest in the Premiership behind Heny and Walcott. On the downside he can be arrogant, stupid and hot tempered. His finishing isn't always the best either. D'oh |

If Owen wasn't injured it would be a tough call for all geordies. I would go with Bellamy. He's less injury prone and is a bit more forceful than Owen | |
