vCash: 480 | Reading keep quiet about Xisco rumours Reading have refused to comment on reports linking them with a move for Deportivo La Coruna's highly-rated striker Xisco. Royals boss Steve Coppell has been linked with a move for the hitman in the Spanish press. According to AS, Xisco has attracted attention from England after impressing during a loan spell with Segunda Division side Vecindario. However, an unnamed Championship side is also believed to be tracking Xisco and could rival Reading for his signature should Coppell opt to make a move for the Depor man. "Two clubs are interested in Xisco," the player's agent and brother Toni Jimenez told AS. "His excellent work in the Segunda Division has motivated these. His goals and his presence in the Spanish Under-21 squad have demonstrated he can play at a high level." Xisco is likely to be available for another loan deal next season, but Jimenez isn't ruling out a permanent transfer for his brother. "If the money conditions are good it is possible to speak about a transfer," Jimenez added. "The decision is down to Deportivo because Xisco has an amateur deal signed with the Galician club. I know that Depor want to do a professional deal and a meeting is necessary." |
