West Ham In 6.5 Mil Arge Goalkeeper

West ham have made a 6.5 mil bid for river plate goalkeeper Juan Pablo Carrizo.
The bid which would constitute a record for an argentinian goalkeeper, is thougt to have been accepted by river plate adding roumours that carlos tevez will be staying at upton park in a 12 mil pound 5 year deal.

Thats an awful lot of money for a goalkeeper , is he any good?

i have no idea.. he will be argen no 1 for the american cup and the river plate manager is not very happy he is leaving b4 the championship.

If he's the Argentinian no1 then I gues he must be pretty handy , South Americans don't tend to do well in England but maybe it'll be easier for a goalie to adjust.

i just had a look at him on youtube and he is not bad..

He's a handy keeper from what i've seen but £6m seems a bit much. Seems West Ham are the new Chelsea, getting held to ramson on every deal.

Having said that, Tevez won't be staying regardless of if he signs or not.
