Beckham to Newcastle?

Newcastle United have brushed off reports linking them with a move for former England captain David Beckham. Shepard claimed it was purely coincidence that the Real Madrid midfielder and Shepherd were at the hotel around the same time. The Mail has pictures of Victoria Beckham and Shepherd leaving the hotel separately but none of Beckham, who they claim was "smuggled away through a different exit".

Coincedence apparantly. Who cares he crap anyway. Would be a backward step for Newcastle

That is a mtter of opinion, I don't think that he is half the player that left to join Real Madrid. The legs are not there any more, but it would raise the profile of Newcastle.

I think age has got the bette of him some of the displays he's put in for Real last season have been truly outstanding
