Manchester United Target Torres Stays In Madrid

Fernando Torres has confirmed that he wishes to stay at Athletico Madrid despite speculation linking him with a move to Manchester United to replace Ruud van Nistelrooy.

Looks like Man Utd will need to look elsewhere for Ruud's replacement. Pity, I would like to have seen him try his luck in the Premiership.

he must be doing the Club President's daughter. excuse the cynicism it's just unusual to see that kind of loyalty. good on him. mind you, he knows he can have his pick of clubs when he decides to move
