Wenger Will Not Sign Defender

Wenger has stated that he will not sign another centre back to replace Campbell or the injured Senderos.

This looks like leaving the Gunners a bit short at the back and unusual for any Arsenal team not to be covered in that position.

would really like arsenal to go for a real piece of class like christian chivu at roma, or alesandro nesta. I like the arsenal team, i think senderos and toure look capable but they just need real quality defender.

Chivu's a class act. remember him when he played against Celtic. Can see Arsenal struggle for top 4 this season.however, they do have a pretty stadium

Anyone other then Cygan. I mean dear god i dont think i can stand another season with Uncle Fester.

I want us to make a move for Mexes. Solid central defender and is a proven international.

Well i like to have faith in all my Arsenal players. Hell i even though Kanu would come good at some point.

But with Cygan there is no positive. Although i always thought that if he angled his head, he could reflect the sun off his head and into the attackers eyes.
