PSG going down ?

Forget the top of Ligue 1 , Lyon have won it again the drama in France is at the bottom of the table where Paris St Germain are now in deep relegation trouble after they lost at home 1-0 to Auxerre yesterday leaving them just 1 place off the bottom.

I think 3 from the current bottom 6 will go down and with 10 games left it's very tight indeed.

Bottom of the table:
15th Valenciennes 32 pts, 16th Nice 31, 17th Troyes 30 , 18th Nantes 29, 19th PSG 28, 20th Sedan 26.

Just watched PSG go out of the UEFA cup losing 3-1 to Benfica , I felt they played pretty well and were unlucky ,if they show this form in the last 9 domestic games then they won't go down.

Well they lost again this week 1-0 at Rennes but the teams around them all lost as well so it's as you were , still I think 2 or 3 wins will get them out of trouble though the games are running out.

PSG are out of the relegation zone after a vital 2-1 at high flying Lens.

At the top Lyon remain 16 points clear.

Another win for PSG yesterday , they trailed Le Mans 1-0 at half time but 2 second half goals gave them 3 precious points, they now move up to 16th , whilst they are still just 3 points ahead of the relegation zone I think they have turned a corner and the danger is now over.

PSG drew 0-0 at Bordeaux on saturday , but virtualy everybody else drew 0-0 as well so no real change .

Incidently only 8 goals were scored in ligue 1 this weekend thats got to be some kind of record.

PSG secured Ligue 1 survival with a 2-1 win over Troyes , a result which condemned Troyes to relegation along with Sedan & Nantes.
