Of players I have seen I would rate Maradona first just inftront of Pele with Platini 3rd , Puskas may well have been better but he was way before my time.

he may have cheated once, but it was masterfully gallus. later in that game he went on to score the greatest goal of all time. Shearer is good, but Diego Maradonna is better.

of the players i have watched it would be close between bergkamp and zidane but i would pick zidane as he is more skillful and won more, but reputation wise then you can split hairs over pele, maradonna and puskas as they are all amazing players in their respective era's

If you look at your figures he is the biggest export of our country.He is the all round package on and off the field. He can change a game and win it!! you lot think long and hard before you name players like KAKA He has not proved himself yet, if you do your research Zidane said that David beckham was the best player he ever worked with. david Beckham could put a ball to your feet or head fro0m a distance as if someone had personelly placed their. maradonna is a fat cheat who cost england a chance to win the world cup yes he scored one brilliant goal but he got done for drugs got banned do i need to go on!!!!! A great player has to have the alround package to be able to come back when it seems all gone as beckham did to earn his recall back to tha england team.....

so would you rather have beckham or kaka at the toon, i'd rather have kaka anyday if we could bring beckham on just for freekicks then i'd have him as well, but kaka is just about the best player in the world at the moment and wheres beckham sunning himself on a beach earning himself and his club a fortune, and i don't think beckham really had that great an impact in spain as he seemed to be injured, left out , a sub or sent off so think a bit more carefully before you post pro beckham replies as being the biggest marketing tool and scoring a few important goals doesn't make you one of the greats
