Bobby Robson feeling very well

Former England manager Sir Bobby Robson was doing well in hospital on Sunday after being taken ill at a match.

The 73-year-old complained of feeling unwell 10 minutes into Saturdays Championship clash between Ipswich and Crystal Palace.

Ipswich Hospital NHS Trust spokeswoman Elaine Patten said: "Sir Bobby is feeling very well, and once his investigations are completed he will be discharged."

Great news, he has always been a complete gentelman and I hold a huge amount of respect for him.

I always remember the amount of crap that was thrown at him before and during Italia '90 by the media. But credit to Bobby, he was always pleasant and refused to rise to the bait.

In turn he showed the country that he has been one of the best England managers in recent times. Only Venables comes close in my eyes.

Good to hear, have always liked and admired sir Bobby. He always comes across as warm, willing to talk, and give his experienced and professionnal opinion, the kind of guy to share a few drinks down the pub with.

i'd just like to echo the sentiments expressed concerning Sir Bobby. Not just a credit to football but to his country also. A true gentleman and ambassador for the game.

The FORCE will always triumph over the dark side!!!
