Media Pressure in football is it unfair

Hi there my name is mike i am doing an Media A2 exam and part of my course work is to ask other peoples opinion on my chosen topic. Which of course is Football. i would like to know how you feel on the following questions:

Do you feel that pressure by the media(newspapers,t.v ect) is unfair?

Do you think the Europeans Media handle Football differently when covering it?

All replys would be greatly apprieiated

not for the wages the players are on, no. there's pressure to win football games, then, in the real world, there's pressure that could mean you losing your job, and subsequently your home and family. when you're being paid millions per year to play a sport, you should be able to take any pressure the media put on you.

I agree with aisuru but at the same time it is only fair to draw the line on the private/public debate. I think this thing with Lewis Hamilton (although just an excuse not to pay tax) shows that people do not know when to stop hounding sports stars and this is fueled incessently by the media. It is all well and good for a paper to get on the back of a manager/player but to explore theirprivate life is not fair in my opinion.

that's very true, they deserve their privacy as much as anyone. Hamilton, meanwhile, is indeed on a tax exile.

media pressure will never seize from existence. This is because of the gap between the rich and the poor and the media at times is trying to balance that much difference. We all know the media is about making money so no doubts about media pressure
