It dependends on the language that I am using. In English I refer to it as soccer while in German it is football. In America calling it football is just confusing.

I vote for football. The entire world says football, only americans say soccer. We can't call it soccer only because americans call it this way. Football is the name (FIFA - Federation Internationale de Football Association).

Football for sure, the americans can call it whatever they want, but they should call it football, it's and older sport than american football, so it deserves to be called that way.

Americans already have their own football, hence calling it Soccer, it is however the sport where the play is controlled by the feet, and should be called football.
In Canada, it is called Soccer because of the Americans, and because Canada has it's version of Amercian Football, however, Toronto's new team is called a Football Club.
