MLS play offs round up

Justin Mapp buried a free kick to boost Chicago past visiting New England 1-0 on Sunday afternoon. "It was just a normal free kick," Mapp told MLSNet. "Im not sure if it snuck through or if it went over, but well take it." Also Sunday, Ante Razov and Juan Francisco Palencia scored to lift hosts Chivas USA over Houston 2-1.

On Saturday, D.C. United reversed their recent bad patch of form with a 1-0 victory at New York. Christian Gomez turned home a Jaime Moreno pass with 13 minutes left to secure the win. "I was pleased with every aspect of the game," said coach Peter Nowak.

"We controlled the game, we had a couple of good chances in the first half. We dropped a little bit in the second half, but we still kept control and basically, waited for our chance." Finally, Abe Thompson netted 10 minutes after halftime to earn FC Dallas a 2-1 win at Colorado.

I watched a little this summer and the quality is ok, I would say it is about the Championship level, with a few better quality players.

Are most of the players home grown or are there a lot of foreign imports?
