Walcotts Debut tommorrow?

Accoring to Arsene Wenger via sky sports news, Walcott could be making his debut against Madrid. Does anyone think this is bit of an ask for him? i mean last time he played it was against some championship team now a world class team full of elite players! Dont get me wrong, i want to see him play and i think he could maybe cope but could this harm his confidence if he doesnt rise to the occasion, but then again ... why shouldnt he? Debate lads and Daz

Would be a great experiance being able to make your answer debut at 16 years old at the beranabeu. Same as daz said, can see him as a subsuitute maybe getting 5 minutes for the sheer experiance.

Well wouldnt have been any logic with us trying to hold on to a one-nil lead and bring on a young attack minded midfielder.

A little more what? How does he score points unless he tells the boys in the tunnel to turn back and he will handle it. He then wins the match and gets 3 points for Arsenal.

If Walcott onces to get in the team he should do what he did at Southampton, show up to training and continue to impress Wenger which is what he has been doing already.
