Penalty shoot-outs keep or scrap them?

Penalty shoot-outs keep or scrap them?

What do you think?

If you would scrap them, then how whould settle drawn knock-out matches?

You see I think taking corners would intoduce more of an element of skill than penaltys. It could be the same knock out format but in that way and then say if it got beyond 10 each then go to penalties.

Penalties can seem a little unfair on the team that loses , but they certainly are dramatic to watch.
I remember in the 70's cup games sometimes going to 4 or 5 replays which was a bit silly , also in world cups there just isn't time to schedule replays . The only draw back of penalties is sometimes shitty teams will play for a 0-0 draw in the hope of winning the penalty shoot out , making for some terrible games.
But all in all I think penalties are the best way of settling a drawn cup match

It is funny when a player misses a penalty.
Like when Stuart Pearce missed his penalty against West Germany in the Semi-Final of Italia 90.
