Australia in asian Football Confederation?

Australia in Asian Football Confederation?

For or against it?

I am against it as Australia is part of the continent Oceania not Asia and should be part of the Oceania confederation not Asia.

What next Rangers and Celtic playing in the English Premier League instead of the Scottish Premier League and France and England playing in the rugby Union Tri nations competition along side Australia, New Zealand and South Africa instead of in the Six Nations Championship?
I am tired of people picking and choosing which country/continent to represent in International sport as the whole of of Internationals in team sport is to find the best country is in that sport by having only people born in that country represent the country in interational matches.

If you allow people to pick and choose which country/continent they play for in internationals then it make a farce of this.

Actualy Australia is in Asia imo ,Oceania is something European settlers invented because they didn't want to classed as Asian.

you think thats bad look at Israel Alllllllll the way in the middle east but playing in the Euro and even Turkey isnt in Europe so there is no point in complaining about Australia when Israel are still aloud to play in Europe...... Ridicolous next you will hear Ghana playing in South America

Why would a country from totally different country join in totally other different continent?

Australia joined AFC because they thought Asian football is the easiest of all, and joining AFC would be the easiest way for them to join in World Cup every 4 years.
Australia is simply taking advantage of Asian Football Federation.
