vCash: 379 | Hello mate , welcome to footballtalk Don't know much about MLS to be honest , but I think it is a lot better than it's predescessor the NASL , and proper football does appear to be gaining some ground in the US though obviosly there is a long way to go. Question , signing big name european players will certainly raise the profile of MLS over here but will it actualy go down well in America ? , maybe good for football purists such as yourself but would the general public prefer to see young American talent? |

vCash: 500 | The general public dont even watch football lol. I know a couple people that would like to watch it, problem is it only comes on cable/the spanish channel so not very many people have the opprutunity to watch mls anyway. So it'll go down fine in the usa, since most people dont even care lol. |

vCash: 500 | Football (soccer) is big in Canada, especially in the Greater Toronto Area. It is very multicultural and most of the people are European or European desent. There hasn't been a big enough venue for it till recently however, but with the Vancouver Whitecaps and Toronto FC joining the MLS, football has been reborn. The new BMO Field, though it doesn't hold as many as some of the football stadiums there, is amazing. The first home match is very much anticipated. |

vCash: 379 | Not so bad for a country where football is a minority sport , and there does seem to be a steady year on year increase which is encouraging. |

vCash: 500 | Mls finally getting a little bit of talent? MLS is getting a little bit of talent maybe soon it will be as good as the SPL is. The MLS if the USA ever gets properly interested in assocition football it would become the best domestic league in the World. ![]() |
