vCash: 500 | What makes a Great Stadium?? What makes a Stadium great..? Is it the atmosphere created by the crowd, or the design (e.g Estadio Mestella with the crowd so close to the action), is it the max capacity capabilities or the facilities that a stadium has (e.g retractable roof, interchangable flooring?? vCash: 379 | I would say a mixture of atmosphere & facilities , the capacity is less important some very large stadia are ugly and like morgues on match days whereas some small stadia look good and have a fantastic atmosphere. I think the noise created by the crowd is what makes a stadium memorable but in this day and age the standard of facilities play a major part in whether or not you enjoy the whole experience of match day or not. |

vCash: 500 | Its all about the atmosphere for me. Hell look at Colchester in the Championship, naff all facilities and a capacity of 8,000ish and they are unbeatable at home because the crowd make it uncomfortable for visiting teams. |

vCash: 500 | I have to agree that the atmosphere in stadiums does play a big part in teams performances at times! I just hope that the atmosphere in the new Wembley can help lift England's performances!! |
