vCash: 500 | English media watching the tele i can't believe the English media's obsession with the fact that most Scots won't support England at the World Cup. i can't believe THEY can't understand why we'll support anyone but them. if it needs explaining then God help us all |

vCash: 500 | Arrogance, aloofness and Jimmy Hill and the famous 'toepoke' quote for Dave Narey's thunderbolt against Brazil in 1982. Constant reruns of 1966 before every tournament, predictions that England should win every year, Mars bars changing name to 'believe' and so on. there are many more but I was actually in a good mood and don't want to ruin it. |

and i've never heard anyone north of the border claim the team's better than the English team. We know when we're ****, and we don't care! when we win, we have a laugh, when we lose, we have a laugh! that's why everyone, no matter where we go love us (and the converse is true for why everyone hates you lot) p.s, we've got a really good-to-watch team at the mo. look out, next comp!! ![]()

vCash: 300 | As mentioned by my fellow Scots here you just need to look at the English media, constant mentions and comparisons wtih THAT year(theyre wearing red shirts like back then etc etc)Gods gift to football its coming home, need I go on?Its no wonder none of the other home nations are gonna support you lot.As mentioned by the haggis we know how to enjoy ourselves win or lose and always endear ourselves to the locals, hence the many pats on the back from UEFA and FIFA over the years. |

vCash: 500 | In previous World Cups the media have always been 'we' in regards to England and 'them' in regards to Scotland. This is the fundamental problem when reporting on games for them, how do they label 'us'. There has been little problem in the last 2 world cups as 'we' have not been there, while the 'English' have. This has let Wrighty and co have a field day with their excitement of football coming home. And to tell you thet truth it has been home last year and I reckon it will be again, back to Brazil with you football! |

You scots are part of the English Empire and you don't like it. You were conquered long ago and you won't forget it. You would still all be too busy fighting with each other anyway. The old divide and conquer......more English Tactical Genious Hope we win it just to annoy our subjects north of the border. "C'MON ENGLAND"

You win a football match and look what happens your all stiff upper lip and arrogant, and those are your best qualities!! Nothing unites the Scots like a Englishman. Without us you wouldn't have a television to watch the world cup on. And it's not divide and conquer it's bribe, cheat n steal.

vCash: 500 | the English media would have you beleive they are one of the best technical sides and exciting to watch. Funny how the worst and most boring game so far has been the England game. As we predicted, England can only play one way, have one gear and could send an insomniac to sleep. |

vCash: 700 | It was funny when the English host asked Leanardo which European teams he fancied, he mentioned Italy, Spain, Holland and France. But not England. The host felt so small and insignificant he realised he was believing his own hype. Think it was Lineker? |

vCash: 500 | England deserved to win, I don't know about them being lucky. They actually played poorly today and finally broke T&T down, but the optimism at the end by the commentators was just typical. |

You Jocks are really something else. We have qualified for the next round after 2 games for the first time since 1982 and we are criticised for being optimistic. There are no easy games in the World Cup the "underdogs" come well organised and make themselves difficult to break down. Credit should go to T&T for the way they played. Impressive for such a small country. In fact I reckon they could beat Scotland easily. ![]()

vCash: 700 | Batten down the hatches. It's England v Sweden live. Can anyone watch to see how many times the commentators mention 1966, Bobby Moore or Geoff Hurst or anything to do with that 'Annus Horriblis' as it is known in Scotland. Will they predict who England meet in the final? Will they assume that England are better than Sweden and wonder why they are not winning? What a night ahead. |

vCash: 0 | I have to say it was funny yet somewhat embarrassing listening to the english media during the sweden game. The excuses they came up with when england were on the rack were pathetic.Roll on the big guns if this is the best they have to offer.![]() |

vCash: 500 | Motty lost it last night, it must be said. In the first half everything was going well and discussions on the QUARTER FINALS opponents were going on, they didn't even know who they were due to play next. There were lots more little comments of we expect, we believe etc.. Believe you are on the same level as Sweden, a 40-1 outsider. Expect elimination. |

vCash: 0 | Just fresh from watching the Argentina/Holland game (at least I think it was, there was so much mention of Owen's knee, I got a bit confused.) Liked it when old Pearce said (of Argentina) 'I seriously think we just saw the world cup winners in action there'. Everyone else in the box laughed! Why? He looked a bit confused at this, did they think he was being sarcastic? or that of course he meant to say England? probably! |
