How do you currently rate the standard of Football in Eastern Europe?

I think what would freshen up the UEFA Champions League would be for a team from Easter Europe to win it in 2008 (unlikley but possible).

Eastern Europe produces a lot of high quality players but they lose them to much richer Western European clubs.

they produce good players but they never stay long enough to have a positive impact on their respective leagues and raise the game in general
