vCash: 500 | Yes. Materazzi was essentially cheating, hiding behind the rules of the game. I don't think even he expected such a severe reaction. Just wish Zizou had stuck the boot in as well |

vCash: 500 | Oh this will be rather intresting. Tis worthy of being stickied as well. For me what both players did was inexcuseable. Zidane does have a reason for his action but he is a role model for youngsters. Very hard to decide. |

vCash: 500 | You can't act like Zidane did on the field. Materazzi should not have said anything but headbutting him is not the answer. Scoring or setting up a goal to sicken him would hurt him more. |

vCash: 500 | alright, it was a poor example for kids to see, and i understand that he maybe could have stayed on the pitch and helped the team. However.... if anyone says anything about your family, especially if one of those members are in hospital when thwy say it, i would want to rattle them. he was right, lets face it, the world cup is only a competition, but when someone has a go at your fam... they deserve a kicking. |

He could have been the hero of the world cup to his country and retired in a blaze of glory, not shame and controversy. Materazzi was just being a wee obnoxious thug, but who won in the end?? He had the last laugh... | |

vCash: 500 | Does everyone realise that Zidane has previous too? 14 reds in a career that is supposed to be from one of the most gifted players of our generation shows that he had a darker side to him too. |
