vCash: 480 | Copa Brasil first leg Flamengo (who's basge, I very much hope is a Famingo) drew first blood in the Copa Brasil final by beating arch-rivals Vasco da Gama 2-0 in the first leg at the Maracana stadium on Wednesday. Two quick goals midway through the second half put Flamengo in an excellent position in the all-Rio de Janeiro final. Substitute Obina opened the scoring in the 59th minute when he volleyed home from just inside the penalty area. Former Brazil striker Luizao headed the second three minutes later. |
