Real Vs Barca is for total football while Celtic V Rangers for total violence.

Depends what mood I am.

Newcastle V Sunderland would be good too.

Did anyone watch the Lineker interview of Maradona in Argentina before the World Cup? He took Lineker to a Racing V Boca derby, that looked something special.

for me, it's obviously the 'Old Firm'. yes it's partly the hatred that makes the atmosphere so special but it is electric. although, playing 4 times a season has taken something away from it.
after that , i'd love to see Boca and River plate. looks awsome

i remember a couple of years ago my Swedish relatives were over for hogmanay. the whole family was there, watching the Old Firm game on the BBC. my cousin kept asking me which team i wanted to win, and he couldn't understand why i wanted neither to come off the field with a victory.

with a Partick v Gypsy Scum game... sorry, i mean Partick v Clyde game, there's more of a friendly rivalry. well, perhaps not 'friendly', but it's not the case that fights break out after the game. it comes down to a football match at the end of the day, rather than religious bigotry, which happens with a lot of Old Firm fans. not all of them, granted, but a significant number of nutters who will quite happily chib somebody for wearing green/blue depending.

I think many people on here would never have heard of the Bully Wee. But the Clyde and Partick fans are a little on the 'mental side'. I know 2 Clyde and 1 Partick fan and they are all a little crazy. Nice, friendly crazy though.

the Old Firm derby ( according to many players, pundits etc....) is one of the few if not the only derby, whose build up begins weeks before the game and dominates the lives of those who follow both teams for those weeks . Sad , maybe, but it that's what makes it so special.
most never enjoy the game as by the then humping them is really all that matters

There was only one game that I really enjoyed that I can remember. There have been others but this always sticks in my mind.

MON's first Old Firm game in charge at Celtic Park, 6-2 we won, with Ricksen being subbed after 25 minutes. It was also the game Larsson scored one of his best goals, nutmegging Moore, running past big Amo and lobbing Klos from 35 yards. Sweeeeeeet.

for anyone that has not seen this sheer piece of genius from Henrik "King of Kings" "King Henrik" "the lord thy Henrik ordained by Saint Martin" Larsson, youcan see video footage of it at:

I beleieve that there is also an option to go on and view some of his other classic goals as well, quite a lot of which came against rangers!
