Big game in Germany today sees Bayern take on leaders Schalke, the Barvarian giants desperately need the 3 points to get their Bundesliga season back on track.
Bayern are in danger of missing out on CL qualification for the first time since the mid ninetys

Second placed Werder Bremen are away to Cottbus and could go level at the top if they win & Schalke lose , 3rd placed Stuttgart are at home to Alemania Aachen.

Bayern beat Schalke 2-0, Werder Bremen missed the chance to go joint top as they were held 0-0 at Cottbus , Stuttgart won 3-1 against Alemania Aachen which leaves the top of the table looking like this:

1st Schalke 53 pts, 2nd Werder Bremen 51, 3rd VfB Stuttgart 49, 4th Bayern Munich 47
