Quiz Thread

Right the way this bad boy works is that I ask a question and the first person to answer it correctly either a) sets their own question or b) can flick it back to me.

You can guess as many times as you like.

The use of Google and other search engines is punishable by death.

Right lets make question 1 a hard one.

Between who was the first English Leauge game to be conducted under floodlights? (Grammatically that question is a train crash but you get the gist.)

Question 1

Looked it up in my book though..

Non football question coming up [only because I have been researching a place I will visit soon]

Where did karate originate from?

I need an answer that is more specific than just a country.

I've decided to try and revive this thread, so here's the question.

Which footballer won All Ireland Gaelic Football championships in 1975 & 76 and what unfortunate distinction does he have in English football history?

The boys of NYPD choir still singing Galway Bay.
