I dont think so because we are used to our own currency plue its rather complicated.

we managed to switch from £.S.d to decimal in 1971 with very little problem, so why would switching to Euros be any problem? you still have the same system, only different notes and coins to represent the currency.

it makes sense economically, and would lead to the prices of many items being reduced.

If you join with the EU you can no longer consider yourselves separate from Europe. Becuase of how the English economy has gone in recent years...lets face it, Ireland's is better, you should, but becuase pride I doubt you will.

It saves you having to change currency and money when you go from the UK to France and spend money like I did in 2006!

advantage 1: people that visit the uk donīt have to change the money

while it would benefit the consumer industry would suffer as the strong pound is good for finance and industrial companies, but the euro would encourage investment from international company as it would be cheaper to set up
