it is so hot here too, temperatures in Glasgow are reported to top 20C later today. Better look out that diving suit!!

Summer here is, for a girl from north London, is unbelievable. It's either roasting hot 38+ (usually for at least 3 weeks there a few 40+ days), or it's humid and you sweat sitting down at home.
And in Australia summers last 3 months minimum, but November is usually very warm, as is March.
And no rain, there's not a lot of rain here during winter, let alone summer.
It takes some getting used to.

knew a few friends who have either lived in Oz or are currently living there and say the weather is a plus. But xmas without snow?
wait a minute we don't even get snow . o.k ,xmas without the cold, drizzle and black clouds? doesn't bare thinking about
