i have to say, England are indeed pish. Crouch is pish, Beckham is pish (apart from one good cross) they don't have a decent goalkeeper, they clearly can't defend - they looked static and confused for most of tonight's game. didn't deserve the victory, didn't get it.

I thought the Croats looked very tidy on the ball. However they were made to look neat by a sorry bunch of english players charging in trying to win tackles that were never on. These dopes really made it easier for the Croat's. They can't defend as a team. I think they had two chances all night (crouch and bent). Croatia could have and probably should have came away with a much bigger margin.

They should go to the spl and try and find a Scottish keeper with an English granny.

to be honest, i think Crouch is one of the very worst players you lot have. i can't even work out how he got a place at a Premiership club, let alone any international caps. he's only there for his height - and given that he wasn't winning that many aerial balls because he can't jump. he's just a gangly big choob who got into the right place at the right time, toe-poked the ball into the net and was hailed as a hero. he's got very little coordination and very little skill.

Seriously That's What You Saw Croch's Goal Was World Class, I Think That He Is An Under Rated Player As He Has A Good First Touch And Excellent Close Control And Being As He Won 90% Of His Headers Last Night But Was Made To Look Bad By Poor Support Play Because Of This I Think He Deservs Some Plaudits At Least But Enough Slagging Off We Need To Look To The Future And Re Build A Battered And Beleagured Squad And Get Back Some Pride.
