Capello confirmed:
BBC SPORT | Football | Internationals | Capello named new England manager

will Capello's style suit the English players though?

Something tells me all this aint right, I dont have a problem with a manager/coach coming from another country ie, Capello, but to bring along a whole foreign team running things with him, hells bells, I dont see this working, then I am Scottish, pity if it doesnt!

i expect he'll bring in some English members to the team at some point, but as he's new to the country, he'll want a more familiar setup in place until he settles. if it were me, i'd want people i knew and trusted too. whether it works or not, only time will tell.

well at least the fa have chosen a manager who can win things and seems to able to motivate different players i think it is a positive move and agree with aisuru about having a familiar set up to begin with, would expext pearce and shearer to be installed as coaches sooner rather than later though.

Yes but an entourage, surely no, must be costing a fortune for the FA, bloody hell? LoL

it's apparently £1.4M for the sidekicks. but it's not like they can't afford it - the FA's turnover is in the hundreds of millions a year.

According to The Sun:

"Capello's Italian coaches cannot be bothered to learn English and will not move to England either."

Looks like their not happy with the appointment

well there you go. i just wonder how long it'll be before a Sun journalist is rummaging around in Capello's bins to find something they can spin into a scandal. probably at it already, in fact.

i don't think cappello will be bothered and i think the english media should stop getting on the national coaches back until he has played any meaningful matches and actually got to know the squad, leave him alone and judge him on results and performances not because of a personal matter

i'm pretty sure Beckham's gonna make it back into the starting11, Capello saw what a talent he really is when he actually gave him a fighting chance those last few months at Real

SWP was great against Everton and might as well claim the RM role for his own
