Brazil named the following squad on Thursday for friendly internationals against Kuwait on 7 October and Ecuador on 10 October:
Goalkeepers: Helton (Porto), Gomes (PSV Eindhoven)

Defenders: Daniel Alves (Sevilla), Maicon (Inter Milan), Marcelo (Fluminense), Adriano Correia (Sevilla), Luisao (Benfica), Alex Dias (PSV Eindhoven), Lucio (Bayern Munich), Juan (Bayer Leverkusen)

Midfielders: Lucas (Gremio), Gilberto Silva (Arsenal), Edmilson (Barcelona), Dudu Cearense (CSKA Moscow), Kaka (AC Milan), Ronaldinho (Barcelona), Elano (Shakhtar Donetsk)

you can't blame a goalkeeper for the outfield's shortcomings. it's the other ten players' job to stop the ball getting as far as the keeper.
