vCash: 480 | Meier takes charge of Liechtenstein Urs Meier will lead Liechtenstein in their friendly international against Wales on 14 November after being named as the temporary successor to coach Martin Andermatt. The 45-year-old, a former assistant to the national team who was part of Andermatts coaching staff, will be assisted by Josef Weikl and Erich Buerzle as well as goalkeeping coach Dietmar Kupnik for the match in Wrexham. Andermatt stood down as Liechtenstein coach after two and a half years in charge to take charge of Swiss side BSC Young Boys. He had previously done the job in tandem with his position as coach of league side FC Vaduz, who are based in Liechtenstein but play in the Swiss second division. |
