Opinion on Cup Hosting

Do you think that Germany will be up to the task of hosting the upcoming World Cup? Will it be better or worse than the last Korea/Japan Cup?

In my opinion, I think it will be good, and will be better than the Korea/Japan cup due to experience in hosting such big events.

Can't really say with this kind of things. In the past we have seen smaller countries doing a great job hosting big sport events and bigger countries failing miserably (Atlanta anyone?). I guess only time will tell

Will be one of the best tornaments there has been Japan was great as it was purpose built but it suited the South America/African teams due to the immense heat. Germany will have a much different climate and we should see some better football!

Fingers crossed!!

Germany are so competative, im glad its them that are hosting. Iits close to home aswell, one quick flight over there if i manage to get myself a ticket.

As DAZ said the heat and climiate will be alot better to play football in.

It suits England alot better. It should be a good competition, even if the quality of clubs is lessened by FIFA's qualifying policies.

How Angola can go to the World Cup, and clubs like Turkey and Ireland can't, is beyond me. The World Cup should be about the best clubs in the world competiting, instead it's seem to have sold out to covering every area of the market.

Granted there should be a range of nations, but it should be limited in some area's.
