Will Owen be fit?

Will Owen be fit to play in the world cup?

Or as another matter of fact should he even be chosen due to the lack of recent first team football?

The jury is open!!

I think he will be fine, yes he may not be operating at full speed, but after a few good training sessions i think he will be back and ready for England.

Still not sure about this striker situations though.

I would take Owen, Rooney, Crouch, Defoe and im not sure weather to take 4 or 5 strikers.

For anyone watching Soccer AM this morning you should know a certain Jeff Sterling was adiment that AJ should go and he topped that off with 2 goals today and should have easily got his hatrick.

I was watching that bit. If your going to consider Johnson then i suppose you have to consider Ashton as well.

To be honest that is a fair point. Ashton did well in his first few appearances with the hammers but he seems to have gone off the boil now.

It currently seems as if we a fair few great strikers in the England ranks!

Well id liek to think so.

Otherwise id go for a Rooney/Bent front line.

Crouch dont cut the butter for me.
